Poached shrimp, green beans, carrots, asparagus and other steamed veggies are served over a ginger-garlic brown rice and topped with a delightful sweet and sour sauce.

Shrimp are an excellent source of protein, selenium, B12 and a carotenoid called astaxanthin, as well as omega-3 fatty acids.

Garlic is an antioxidant-rich food rich in manganese, B vitamins, and allicin.

Ginger contains potassium, magnesium and an anti-inflammatory compound called gingerols. It has a long history of use in the treatment of stomach upset and nausea.
