Beating Cancer with Nutrition by Patrick Quillin, PHD, RD, CNS with Noreen Quillin *NOTE: Clicking on this link will take you to the Amazon website. Please hit the"back" button to get back to our site!
This was one of the first books that a friend sent to me in 2004 when the cancer metastasized. It should be a “must read” for all Doctors, Physicians Assistants and Nurses! It doesn’t propose that cancer can be tackled with nutrition alone, but how it works with conventional treatments It can greatly improve the outcome and quality of life for the patient. It also provides hope...hope in the form of knowledge. With increased knowledge you become a more active participant in this battle against the disease. You feel like what you do makes a difference...and believe me...IT DOES!!  Read this book. (Includes some wonderful recipes, too!)

Cancer Survivor’s Nutrition & Health Guide-Eating Well and Getting Better During and After Cancer Treatment
by Gene Spiller, PH.D., and Connie Bruce, DR. P.H., R.D.
This book provides information about the role of nutrition in all stages of recovery. They have included menu plans for the days before and after treatment, comfort foods infused with added nutrients, and many ideas for incorporating protective foods into your regular diet.
